It is being reported that Cate Blanchett and Jason Lee have been signed on to star in Studio 111467's new film, New York Rain. Miracle Pictures, the agency which holds the services of both stars, have told reporters that the film will be shot from September 8th until September 14th.
Blanchett is being said to make the most money from the deal, bringing in a sizeable sum of four million dollars. Lee, on the other hand, is expecting a pay-off half the size of his female co-star.
On a side note, September 11th obviously falls on the days of shooting the film. No word on any break the cast may be taking to observe what most in America feel is a new national holidy, one of grieving and rememberance. Be sure that we'll keep you posted on any news that comes our way.
