Bushido Bard Productions has announced that two big named stars have already signed on to the still unnamed Conan Film. Since purchasing the rights to the franchise, Bushido Bard has set the wheels in motion very quickly. With the report that someone is already working on the screenplay for the new Conan movie, casting was the obvious second choice.

Arnold Schwartzenegger has signed on for a reported seven million dollar contract to be in the film. However, Arnold is aging. Some feel that casting him, especially if he is put into the main role of the new film, could be a mistake. Schwartzenegger is a huge name in the action film industry, no doubt about that. Him being involved in the movie in any roll will draw his fans, but his performance could be suffering due to his age. Time will tell on how he will do in the new movie. Then again, it couldn't be Conan without Conan, right?

Vin Diesel has also signed on to star in the movie. Diesel is fast gaining the reputation to be the next big hit in regards to action adventure movies. The interesting thing is Vin Diesel will be getting a bigger payday than Arnold himself, bringing in ten million dollars for the new film. It is also said that Diesel has a guaranteed contract that if a second film is made, he makes a cool thirteen million dollars.

From this, maybe we're seeing the next Conan. A student teacher type deal where Vin Diesel will become the new hero while Arnold lets the spot light shine on someone else. More names are sure to be cast, but with Arnold's star power and Vin Diesel's fast rising success in this genre, the two will surely put on a rememberable showing.

Schwartzenegger is represented by the Archer Agency and Vin Diesel is represented by The Beef Factory. The Beef Factory is of course known for male star power with the likes of Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford. While Vin Diesel is a fast rising star among those two, this movie could very well push him even higher in the ranks.
