A force so menacing that all shall shudder with fear. Dabbling in ancient, long forgotten arts. Able to strike fear in the hearts of anyone unfortunate enough to get a look at him. Once he was regarded as a hero to his kind, loyal and honorable. Then with the marking of the new moon an uprising took place in the villages. The people rebelled and the lands were spoiled. When everything was said and done, only the strong survived and of them only the most wicked and evil had attained power. This caused sadness and anger in the former hero, it tainted his heart. He realized the only way to overcome evil was to become evil. What he didn't know was that evil has a way of possessing those who dabble in it. Soon he could no longer control his actions. Soon those he was trying to save were becoming his victims. Soon, the blackness of his soul overcame him. And thus was born the Shadow Knight.
